This extra narrow substrate container was designed specifically for the cultivation of strawberries, both in a greenhouse and on stands. The rounded edges of the substrate container support the strawberry trusses. This significantly reduces the chance of damage to the trusses. The volume of the container is 14.5 L, meaning less substrate is required and resulting in a 10% saving on substrate. The top dimensions are unchanged so that planting is just as easy as when using existing Bato meter troughs. The underside is slightly narrower, meaning a narrower steel gutter is also an option. The container features 56 drainage holes for optimal drainage.
